Contributing Towards Greener Environment

Our solar power plant is a true reflection of our belief of contributing towards a greener environment. By harnessing the inexhaustible energy of the sun, we promote Clean & Green energy Solutions for the benefit to the society and environment.
We have 3.7 MW solar plant in Maharashtra. We generate approximately 52 lakhs units of solar energy through this project. The electricity generated through this project is used as captive consumption. This is an initiative to reduce our carbon footprint. Our endeavor is to develop a holistic sustainability road map for the future.

Our CSR activities are concentrated on areas to help the deprived and under-privileged. We contribute to the basic needs like health, education, food and drinking water.

Regularly donating food

Donating food is a noble cause and we feel it is our duty to feed needy and underprivileged class of people in India. Gaining access to healthy and affordable food is a challenge for rural India. We are regularly donating nutritious food to HIV affected children in rural hospitals. By providing healthy food in many villages Neon is humbly contributing in the fight against hunger and malnutrition.

Supporting Education Programmes

• Millions of children travel to school every day in India, relatively less is known about their journeys. Children in rural India face many problems in getting to and staying in schools. By providing school buses we are helping them getting to school. We are doing this work in few of our native rural areas and we hope that it will bring the positive change in terms of schooling for the children in rural areas. We have also built hostels for boys and girls in rural areas and also donated various laboratory instruments.
• We have organized many Students Encouraging Programmes in Rural Schools. We are providing all the basic infrastructures required to educate Rural India.

Conducting Eye check-up camps and Cataract operations

Raising awareness about the importance of regular vision screening is crucial in India where poor vision affects many people. We are ensuring that more people attend the eye check up camps. We are helping the poor and needy people in cataract surgeries.

Regular donation of RO drinking water

Supply of good quality water in sufficient quantity and safe sanitation practices in rural areas are interconnected with the health and economic well-being of the people. We know that water is not only required for drinking and cooking but also to maintain hygiene. Neon is supporting and ensuring provision of safe drinking water, adequate sanitation and easily accessible hygiene services.

Set up a Central oxygen system at Rural Hospital

Oxygen is included in the World Health Organization (WHO) list of essential medicines. It is the treatment that is the basic requirement to save the lives of seriously ill patients. Oxygen is rarely available in primary care facilities and is often lacking in district hospitals. Oxygen cylinders are logistically difficult and expensive to transport from private suppliers located in the big cities to the hospitals in remote areas. During Covid-19 there was acute shortage of oxygen supply for the patient treatment in some rural areas and Neon had setup oxygen system in those hospitals to help the patients fight against the deadly Covid-19.

• In India, healthcare is being provided through primary, secondary and tertiary care hospitals. India has been facing a chronic shortage of healthcare infrastructure, especially in rural areas, Tier II and Tier III cities. Neon has donated equipments to many hospitals in rural areas, thus providing a supporting hand to the needy hospitals.
• Ambulance donation can solve the emergency transport problems of entire community. Neon is supporting this noble cause and have donated many ambulances to rural hospitals. This service has helped in the well being of rural population by rendering them medical services on time and also provide people with basic healthcare facilities.

SUPPORT DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

At NEON we value Humanity First. NEON has provided helping hand during national crisis to help the needy. Various Initiatives taken were by NEON Foundation during Covid 19 Pandemic.

Distribution of food packets & household articles

  • During lockdown period, NEON Foundation has served 4 Lacs food packets to the needy people residing in nearby rural areas & passengers of Shramik Special Train who left for their native places.
  • Around 5000 nos. of Grocery kits were also distributed in rural areas nearby Palghar.
  • Distributed daily household articles to the needy peoples who are working on daily wages & staying in nearby villages.

Donation of bed with mattress to the Covid Care Centers

  • NEON Foundation has donated 100 nos. of bed with mattress to the Covid Care Centers for patients who were suffering from Covid-19.

Distribution of essential medicines to Primary Health Centres

  • NEON Foundation had donated essential medicines to Primary Health Centres.

Donation of COVID PROTECTION KITS to Rural Hospitals & Health Unit

  • Neon Foundation has always believed in promoting Preventive Health Care by donating Surgical Scrub i.e. Cotton Green Shirts, Pants & Safety articles such as PPE kits, Hand gloves, N-95 mask, Phenyl, Digital Thermometer etc. to the Rural Hospital & Health Unit Palghar.

We have also contributed in the form of Monitory donations to Rotary Club of Palghar for their community services.

The contribution made by NEON through various initiatives for the Govt. hospitals and front line workers is significant in this crucial COVID-19 pandemic. We have supported many families, healthcare workers and will continue to do this humanitarian work for the betterment of our nation. NEON will stand strong with the nation and will provide every help within its reach.
